Why I chose to become a teacher?
Ever since I was a little girl, I have known I have wanted to be a teacher. For one thing, teachers run in my family. My grandmother taught 2nd grade for over 40 years and my mom is currently a teacher in Kingsport. However, that is not the main reason I want to teach. I have a big love for children and I feel that working with them on a daily basis would be very fulfilling. I also think that it would be amazing to have such an impact in young student's lives. I think and hope that I will do a good job at teaching and look forward to what it brings to my life.

Teachers run in my family as well! They are all in the Sullivan County School System. But, this is exciting...I have one cousin who teaches Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's children in Nashville. She tells me that parent-teacher conferences are VERY exciting to her! =)
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky you have teachers in your family! Everyone is a nurse in my family. It would be nice to have someone I could relate to at home.
ReplyDeleteWell, I have one that teaches at Sullivan Cetral High School, one at Blountville Elementary, two at Blountville Middle, and one at Central Heights Elementary. I actually work in Bloomingdale at the Pharmacy...so I'm very familiar with some Ketron students! =)
ReplyDeleteYou are very lucky to have people in your family already in the field. I am the first in my family and extended family to want to be a teacher. It would be nice to have someone to talk to about the challenges or my concerns with. Im sure your family will come in handy in more than one way.
